POOL/SPA RULES AND REGULATIONS

Note:  For violation of any of these pool rules and regulations, pool use privileges for your unit may be canceled for up to 30 days, for each separate violation, as well as any clean-up, repair or replacement cost’s, attorney’s fees, fines ($50 per violation), etc. that may also be assessed.

POOL/SPA AREA

-The Pool is open during the summer months, all days, from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m.  Hours may change due to weather condition.

-The Spa is open all year round, 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, unless closed for repairs.

-All residents are responsible for rule enforcement and are authorized to ask violators to leave the enclosed pool/spa area if they fail to  

  initiate corrective behavior.

-The Banning Police Department will be called if there are trespassers.

  1. Anyone swimming or using these areas alone does so at his/her own risk.  The “buddy system” is recommended.  There is NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY.
  2. Observe the posted safety and sanitation rules at all times.
  3. Every child under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult, at least 18 years of age, responsible for them.  This does not mean observing a child from a doorway or through a window.  The responsible adult must be in the enclosed pool/spa area with the child.
  4. No children in diapers are allowed in the pool.
  5. Glass containers are not permitted in these areas.  Absolutely NO ALCOHOL PERMITTED.
  6. No pets are allowed in the pool or spa areas.
  7. Owners and guests are to pick up their own trash; i.e. cans, cigarette butts, personal articles, food, etc.  Note: Food will only be permitted until it becomes a problem, and then will be restricted from the pool & spa areas.
  8. Lifesaving equipment provided is for emergency use only.  Anyone caught playing with lifesaving equipment will be assessed an automatic $50 fine. 
  9. No diving, running or disorderly conduct; i.e. horseplay, unnecessary splashing, skates, rollerblades, skateboards, bicycles, wheeled toys that can be ridden, or general rowdiness is not permitted in the pool area.  Playing with, destroying, defacing or placing any pool area furniture or debris in the pool will not be tolerated.
  10. No additives of any kind; i.e. bubble bath, soaps, etc. shall be added to the pool or spa.
  11. Metal objects that may stain, corrode or chip the pool/spa are not permitted.
  12. Stereos, etc. may be used at moderate levels.
  13. Appropriate swimwear must be worn in the pool and spa.
  14. Gates must be kept closed and locked at all times for the safety of small children, general security and to minimize your exposure to liability claims.  Anyone observed leaving the gate unlocked or propped open at any time will be subject to cancellation of their entire family’s use of the pool for up to thirty (30) days and a monetary fine can be imposed.
  15. All users must be listed on the “Vista Serena Resident Sheet”.  Guests must be accompanied by an adult resident at ALL times.  Maximum of two (2) guests per unit.
